I am finishing off my blood angel army.
I use some of the death company part for my honor guard and they come with rope.
I am wondering what color combination that would be best for the rope part.

If it's intended to represent the ceremonial "rope" sometimes seen on fancy real-world uniforms, then gold would be the obvious option, especially for an honor guard.

But if it's just supposed to be ordinary rope, then I'd go for a natural greyish brown.
