After searching the threads, I do not see anything Gears related. Anyone else a big fan? Opinions on new dlc and the like feel free to post

I did in fact. I'm not regretting it.

Looking foreward to the "Fenix Rising" DLC. I did find the new Alpha campain to be a little bland though.

The new campaign was okay. It wasn't that special, but I had fun with it.

I liked the Raam addition to it. Locust side was pretty interesting just cause it was a change. I do find it rather entertaining when you play as the Mauler Elites and reflect a sniper shot from one COG at another COG and score a head shot. I just about lost it cause it thought that was the coolest thing ever at the time.

Play as Mauler elite? That's co-op campaign, right? Didn't do it co-op. I didn't find that playing as Locust was anything special.

I lost interest after how they treated the series, honestly.

First one's multiplayer was crap, yeah, ok, it was a last minute addition. I can live with that.

Second one they "Want to alienate our older fans to get people who want to play it our way". So they add in stopping power. I love it. But they also make Wallbouncing alot easier to accomplish, and the Host still has a pretty big advantage. Mention this, though? Nope, your gone.


Third one was decent, only time I play is with Kan.

It was okay, but not as entertaining as I'd hoped. I played through once with my wife, but after that haven't really touched it. Gave the DLC a try for about thirty minutes, and it couldn't really hold my enthusiasm.

I'm really not interested in it anymore, I only cared about the story in the first place. The only reason I ever touch it again is because Kan is a nagger.

I played through the first before deciding I disliked the series. Although playing as the bomb bug thing was fun when I played multiplayer (think maybe it was 2 or 3 not sure). That and the bigger stuff you could get as it went a,long like the scorpion and the berserker.

That would be beast mode for the third. Kind of an interesting add-in I think.
Seriously 3.0 anyone? Probably the most time intesive achievement xbox has to date, as far as I know.

Campaign is pretty fun. For whatever reason Sam was always one step away to revive me. Such a good friend.

It was good, but I ended up trading it in for BF3... the sawed off drove me crazy.
