If you take an eldar support weapon battery and upgrade it with a warlock with conceal, would the support weapons themselves benefit from conceal, or just the crew?

Per Conceal, the whole squad gets a cover save. The support weapons are part of the squad.

its just a 6+ coversave.... its not even stealth unless there is a faq somewhere I missed. Conceal looks awesome until you realize that its just a cover save and not the stealth usr

I believe the rules are that the weapons themselves are purely decorative, its the actual Guardians that weapon ranges and such are measured from.

GT, we're talking about Support weapons, which use the Artillary rules.

Taking conceal on Supprt Weapon warlocks isn't the greatest idea in the world however. Simply place half of the squad in area terrain or behind another unit and the squad will have a 4+.

Since the guns are considered part of the unit they will benefit from the coversave of the unit. 4+ cover with fortune is the only thing that makes the support weapons not 100% garbage (just about 90-95%).

A warlock in a group of guardians should always have Embolden, IMO. Those poor eldar die like flies if hit, and small groups will have to check morale after suffering only 1-2 casualties and might already be unable to regroup by then, provided they fall back.
