Hey guys,

Since I am new to the game, I always have a lot of questions coming up.

I came across these carachters looking on the GW website in the collectors section. Is there any use for pirates? Is there a pirate army list? Or otherwise, in which list are they played?

Do you know where I can find their rules and profiles?

Cheers,

A

They are just cool collectors models with no rules sadly

But that doesn't stop one from running a "Counts as" army!

Totally agree with you, mate.

Take the Pirate Captain for example, it is a very cool mini indeed. I have also seen quite cool conversions around on the web of it.

They once sold a pack of zombie and Empire Free Company sprues for making pirate zombies. ALso had a few WD rules IIRC.

Yup in the past edition of the rules there was an army known as the "Zombie Pirates of the Vampire Coast" that were released around the time of the Lustria campaign. Every one of their units were unique to them, like having leviathans from the deep or ship's cannons, and everything needed to be converted. You could always play as an empire army if you wanted to play such a force nowadays, or just get a hold of the original rules and OK it with your opponent (as they were a neat list). =P
