Quick question that might be pretty simple but since i'm still new to fantasy... On the eye of chaos entry states that when your characters kills another in challenge or a large target it is granted the roll on the table, however when fighting a large target must the character get the killing blow? or if his units kills it he get to roll? since large targets can't be challenged.

Enemy Character in a challenge or kills a Large Target. He has to get the killing blow.

Well that sucks, usually my lord takes 3-4 wounds out of the Large targets and then the remaining knights finish them :(

If I remember correctly a model in a challenge cannot be targeted by any other attacks, and as part of the WoC armybook your characters/champions/leaders must either a) challenge or b) accept a challenge...

That is correct. However a lot of large targets cannot be challenged, meaning you find your lower I compatriots finish off the monster...

Its one of those things you have to deal with. I see the large target roll as just a bonus if and when it happens, the Challange roll is the only one that is reliable.
