Does Reanimation Protocols only allow you to bring back one model per phase?
My friend who also plays necrons told me that you can roll a die for ever model that dies, but you can only back one model per phase, which i didn't think was correct
Any clarification would be a big help

Every model can get back up.

The RAW suggest that every model that passes the RP roll can resurrect.

Your friend is either a liar, or needs to read the codex.......

He said to tell you it says- that only a single model returns, and i said that it says for every 5-6 a model returns to play

Your friend has selective reading.

States place a counter next to the unit, on a 1-4 the unit is removed, on a 5-6 the necron reassembles itself and continues to fight. Return 1 (of the counters) to the unit, so lets say you have a warrior squad of 10 models

1-4 die. You place a counter next to models 1,2,3,4. You roll a separate reanimation protocol for EACH model. Where it says "return one of the slain models" is referring to that specific dice roll so people aren't interpreting "If i roll one d6, and i roll a 5-6, all units get back up" , so you would need to roll 4d6 in the above example, any 5's or 6's, those models return to play.

This should really be in YMDC.

If their was a thread saying "Is terrorism bad" in 40k general instead of OT, and people said "Yes, it is bad"....that ruling is still perfectly valid
