The Warp

Looks solid. I would possibly have a couple of the tactical marines squads with missile launchers and combat squad them to provide a couple more de-meching shots, the other halves of the squads plus the two full squads move forwards. Then you can fit vulkan in with the tactical marines so he can save them in combat, as the terminators can look after themselves.

Those predators cost 120 not 130, so give your redeemer a Multimelta aswell, and a combi-flamer to the squad sarge that vulkan rides with, as 2x flamer plus V's heavy flamer then a charge can kill a majority of units, even MEQ (unless they have FNP grrr)

I'm a fan of putting Power Fists in my Tac Squads. I know some will argue against it, but it can buy you a lot of flexibility and keep them a threat. I'd also add a couple of Meltaguns or Combi-meltas to them.

I like Extra Armor on my Land Raiders. Armor 14 causes a lot of things to bounce, but having over 400 points of your army sit still for a turn because of a simple glancing hit... yeah, that 15 points is worth it. And for 10 points in a Vulkan list, always add that Multi-melta to it so that after Term delivery it is still a major threat.

Also don't be afraid to put Multi-melta x2 on those Speeders. You give up anti-horde, but moving 6" and firing two twin-linked shots is nice. And that is 30" effective range if you are targetting MC's, Storm Ravens, or light armor where you don't really need the 2D6 of melta. Of course that puts a big bullseye on the Speeders... terrain is your friend!

Summary: drop a Pred to get Power Fists, Extra Armor, and more melta.

I'm sorry, I think you've over costed your Predators.

the predator is 60 points, then the sponsons are 60 as well.

You have an extra 20 points to spend, my friend. [unless your codex is weird. ]

Put a multi-melta and a storm bolter on the land raider and you'll be sweet.

Also, multimeltas tend to underperform in troops squads, Unless your enemy will be getting very close very quickly you're not going to be using that multi-melta most of the game. Twin linked, yes I know, but consider longer range. A missile launcher is the same price and will get you further - it is more effective against enemies at long range.

alternatively, have no heavy weapon. they're not strictly speaking necessary and really, it makes that squad a heckuvalot faster.

I will say I like the list. But I do not think it is as solid as is being made out.

Essentially I want a few squads of melta, combimelta, fist, ML or MM. As:
You actually have very little antitank, the MM has to be still to fire and then you just have the two speeders and two preds. Then any cc army may not flamers but will like that this means they can get into cc with squads that just can not fight back.

You have a lot right with the list. I like the long range, the suicidal speeders to fill gaps, enough rhinos to protect the raider and one deathstar unit

The effectiveness of the deathstar unit will go a long way as to carry the weaker points of this list.
