Ok guy/girls i've been called a lucky gamer meny times as having a wife that also games.

Ok well yes i have a partner that games and when she wins mocks me to no end.

She also knows the costs of minis and what i also have so no sneeking the odd mini in without her noticing.

Also we both have large armys so costs even more ?.

But on the plus side i always have someone to game.
Someone who i can paint and just chat about the hobby with.

And argue with over wich figs/armys are best.

So guys/girls lucky gamer or not whats your thoughts ??

Sneaking in minis? Did somebody get caught spending diaper money on a new finecast model? Lol jk.

I don't think luck has anything to do with it. You chose to date a gamer and then marry her (or make you wife a gamer however that happened) and it has it's benefits and drawbacks.

That's life.

I'll call you lucky if you can make your marriage last for 20 happy years.

Yes I'm married too. We share a lot of interests, she's not keen on playing Warhammer (likes some figures though) and is more into Magic the Gathering and wants to get into Dystopian Wars.

I'm not sure what the drawbacks are to having a partner interested in gaming, shared interests are great in a relationship.

So long as you don't have wildly divergent opinions regarding those interests.

There's also something to be said for hobbies that your partner doesn't enjoy, so there is no obligation to include them.

Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.

Anybody who has found love is lucky. Gaming need not come into it.

Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.
