Thousand Sons Battleship wandering the galaxy...

If you could invite members of other factions (and their retinues, so to speak) to have a 'wild' party, who would they be? Mine would my brothers in the Blood Ravens Chapter, a Black Legion Chaos Lord and Grand Company, Necron Overlord with his Dynasty, and an Archon with his retinue.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

Surprise appearance by the Emprah, the Dark Gods, and the Laughing God. Seriously, if you don't want to die laughing, stay away from the last one, since only the other gods can keep a straight face.

Guardsmen. Anyone else would probably purposely kill me, or accidentally kill me when making hand gestures. Or Tau. Tau would be fine, though I wouldn't trust them with the china...

Guardsmen, Fire!
...Feth yeah!

I'd invite some Salamanders over to Master's castle, and we'd have a fun time playing WH40k on the holotables - and if they're not too rough, maybe playing with Pouncey and Kuri's models on a physical table - and then maybe playing them World of Warcraft.

Then maybe Kuri would take the Salamanders aside, to the workshop or garage, and they'd build some nifty stuff together while Pouncey winds down in her cage from the stress of having strangers over to visit. ^_^

Alcohol would be available as usual, but also as usual, Pouncey would not partake. Other drinks and snacks would also be available, again as usual.

Other Space Marines, I dunno. If they're nice people, they can come. Flesh Tearers and Black Templars not welcome - the former for obvious reasons, the latter because of all the psykers in the castle. Nor would the Grey Knights be welcome, due to the presence of daemons and people who know about daemons.

I'd invite Imperial Guardsmen over too, but they might tell their Commissar when they got back home, who might decide to suggest crazy stuff that might end in bloodshed for Master's other pets and friends. Commissars would NOT be welcome if we found some nice guardsmen.

Sisters of Battle probably wouldn't be invited, as they'd probably try to burn the place down and kill everyone - especially the Sisters of the Flame - for heresy and treason.

A certain Chaos dwaggykins would be invited of course, but he's a nice guy. Probably wouldn't invite other Chaos people.

Eldar would be welcome, they'd probably behave themselves, and it'd be nifty to see a Farseer play WH40k. ^_^

Dark Eldar, probably not. Too many potential slaves to capture, what with all the Pounceys around and other exotic creatures, like that plant that a certain Pouncey who'd been bad, enjoyed for a few days.

Nids wouldn't be invited, they'd try to eat people.

Orks would probably not be invited, most of them would wreck up the place or try to fix the holotable.

Tau would be welcome and probably invited.

Necrons... I dunno.

I think that covers most of the playable factions, apart from some specific chapters of Marines.

Huh? Who's pouncy and kuri? And what's Master's Castle? Where's all this from?

Pouncey - with an E, thanks - is my roleplaying character.

Kuri - short for Kurisu - is my friend's roleplaying character, who is my roleplaying character's Master. He owns a fictional castle.

Most of it's from completely non-canonical roleplays that my friend and I do over Instant Messenger programs, which is why I don't tend to bring it up much.

Uh, is that 40k or Fantasy? Or other games? And even if the Castle's full of psykers, Thousand Sons (pre and post Heresy) and Blood Ravens wouldn't have problems. The City of Light (or what's left of it) and the Librarium Sanctorum are full of stuff like that.

Mostly 40k. Sometimes Fantasy. Sometimes Warcraft. Sometimes Starcraft. Sometimes furry. Sometimes other games. Sometimes generic fantasy/sci-fi. The whole thing's a massive mess in terms of consistency, probably worse than Black Library stuff. Basically, we roleplay something we both feel like doing, and just enjoy it as it goes along, without too much regard for consistency, particularly when it comes to mixing settings - though once we went a little too far, and retconned it away... and let us never speak of that incident again.

When I mentioned psykers, it was in reference to why the Black Templars would not be invited. Nothing more.

Yeah, Thousand Sons and Blood Ravens would still get uncomfortable around mutants, though not to same extent as Angry Marines or Sisters...
