Found this great site the other night while browsing the interwebs. I played 40K back when 2nd edition was released. I played for a year or so after 3rd edition was released and then stopped playing after high school. I recently started to get back into it after cleaning out some of my old things in my parents basement and now have the itch.

I tried cleaning the old crappy paint off of most of the mini's but it didn't work so well. So I started from scratch.

Have approx 1700 points of Space Wolves that are mostly build and awaiting paint(most have 3 colors dry brushed for the armor and some ink over the top of them). Also working on putting together a Tyranid list, which has probably 1000 points at this time. There "skin" is mostly finished but 90% of the carapaces need some paint applied. I also have some ork parts I picked up cheap from starter boxes, but I don't really have any idea how much is there.

I did pickup the Isle of Blood starter set also as I have always been interested in Fantasy even back in the day. 1/2 of the Skaven are close to being tabletop worthy, the other 1/2 are basecoated.

Have some Flames of War stuff also but haven't really don't anything with it yet.

Have a 6x4 board I built so I can play at the house if needed. Pics coming soon of this....


I will get some pictures posted of how things are coming along in the next couple of days.

Have you tried using simple green or LA Totally awesome to strip old paint off your minis? They work great if you still want to use your old minis. I'm planning on stripping an repainting all my old minis, good thing I found Simple Green in Aus!
