Didn't see this posted anywhere, so I figured I would post here, as it might affect some peoples hobby

Looks like Woodland Scenics had a fire which destroyed one of its buildings. Not sure what was destroyed in the fire, or what exactly this means to us in the hobby who utilize Woodland Scenics products, but I am glad that no one was hurt. If anyone uses Woodland Scenics products on a regular basis, might want to stock up, just in case they have lost the capability to produce at this time.

I don't think stock issues will be a huge problem. Their products are everywhere.
Good thing nobody was hurt though.

According to a post on Warseer their buildings are spread out all over town and only one production facility burned. WS is optimistic that there will be no reduced availability of its products.
This had me worried for a minute too.

According to my Model Railroad friends, who are the primary users of WS products, they should be fine. Their Warehouse was not affected. There may be a slowdown in their ability to re-stock, should they not be able to replace the manufacturing building that was lost, but they really do have operations spread out all over the town of Linn Creek, and should be able to ramp back up quickly.

They made a statement thats up on Tabletop Gaming News which is relatively upbeat so they should be fine. Good luck to them and use them rather than GW for basing its far more cost effective.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.
