Hi

I was wondering, the big mek rule states that once per turn you can attempt to repair a vehicle that you are in contact with by rolling a 4 plus. on successfully rolling a four plus you can either repair a weapon destroyed or a immobilized. My question is can a big mek repair a drive damaged result on a stompa (claw stompa)and if so you would be able to 15 meks (5 squads of 5 lootas with 3 upgraded meks per squad) making your stompa almost unstopable and thats not including primary weapon re-roles and KFFs etc.

Now, i am sure this has been posted before but i am unsure so please can you help?

Yes you can

However like all apoc things it is best to talk these over with the people you plan on playing with

That's wrong, nos.
Meks tools can only repair immobilized and weapon destroyed results, that's why many super-heavy ork vehicles instantly immobilize themselves on any drive damaged result, so the meks can fix them up again.

A stompa, for example, would have to suffer enough drive damaged results to be immobilized before a mek can fix it.

Even orks know it's not smart to start working on a moving machine, and they ain't going to stop unless the have to

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

I'm inclined to agree with Jidmah on this point. Although it would be cool if you could repair drive damaged, or structure points.
