So I'd like to magnetize my armies to make transporting them easier. For my High Elves I know that no matter what I'll need to carve out spaces for magnets as all the bases are solid resin. But for regular GW bases, what is the best method of magnetizing? Which magnets should I use and what size? How should I attach them to the bases?

Tried searching the tutorials but nothing came up for bases. HALP!

Adhesive sheet magnet is what I have used.
While weak-ish on itself, in combination with rare earth mags it gains solid grip.
Can also work with GW box cardboard (stick it on top; cut desired shape. I used them in tandem - joining the cardboard with plastic tray with adhesive mag sheet.

2 x 3mmx1mm magnets.
Glued into the base.

My trays have galvanised sheet glued into them (offcuts from local HVAC ducting). The magnets are also strong enough to hold to a metal toolbox THROUGH the trays.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
