today i have just bought a contemptor for my chaos army, ive decided to run it with the mark of tzeench; i liked the idea of a 215pts walker with a heavy bolter pumping out 3 STR 5 SP 3 shots as well as either a heavy flamer/TL bolter also with ap 3 (+ re rolling 1's in combat) this set would certainly put the hurt on MEQs and several elites due to the AP. However what mark would you give a contemptor or would you even use one?

Hy... I don't think Contemptor will ever be a top tier competitive unit due to their price... Given the fact that a marked contemptor will run at 200+ points I would say that the increased survivability of Nurgle is the best bet... The contemptor do not need extra killiness, becuase he still have enough to make it a prioritary target... I would say that Nurgle with butcher cannon can be a good asset.
