Hey guys, first time forum member to Dakka Dakka and its good to finnaly be here! All the lads down at the local GW keep banging on about this glorious gem of a website, and after many hours trawling through the images and forums searching for clues to answers, inspiration and a way to pass the time with the wonderful hobby I have finnally cracked and decided to join up! Gona start this off with a project build of my new Dark Eldar army, never owned them before so I figure its the perfect way to introduce my style and my self to you lot

Army wise I have:
*Chaos Space Marines (lots of odds and ends)
*Pirate Orks
*Crimson Fists Space Marines
*Dark Eldar (new army)
*High Elves

I'm sure I'll be posting pictures of the armies and future projects, but I thought I'd just say!

Was gonna ask about your Pirates but then I saw the K and not a C and answered my own question. What do you run for Chaos and for High Elves?

Thanks guys

Yeah 40K Ork Pirates I'm afraid, spent ages on trying to work out how to make peg legs, hooks and more importantly getting the tri-corns right out of green stuff. Bit of a bugger!

Chaos at the moment is on the back burner, but I wanted to create a list with a combined force of all 4 of the Gods, as a Word Bearers warband,Got stuck on them a few codices back when you could trick out your Chaos Lieutenant or Lord out more than a Golf GTI in the middle of Hackney About 3000pts altogether with 4 Defilers, each one for their patron God

High Elves wise I wanted 'evil' HE, so I began to form the 'Shadow Legion of Nagarythe', still loyal to Ulthuan but embittered anddarkened by the loss of their land to their evil cousins. I'm attempting to paint them darkened hues of deep blue to almost black to acheive this. So far so good at 2500pts

A lot of the armies and lists I put together are more swayed to theme rather than tournament winning lists, however having said that I sometimes find that my themed lists have trounced some tourny lists, a fact I relish in whenever it occours

I play themed Slaanesh Chaos Marines and tend to trounce with them more often than not. My Vampires are also themed in my own way which you can check out the Warhammer background forum to see the Vampires of Hunger Wood post about the theme I am running with.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
