In the current tournament scene of 40k, which of these list do you see doing well against the upper tier armies (IG, SW, GK, BA)? or do you see it as only doing well against mid tier/lower tier armies?

I'd go with the last list and modify it a bit. Drop the dreadnought, and the melta bombs from the ravenwing sarge. Add another typhoon, and a dakka pred. Also, switch out the meltas for plasma guns. you don't really want a bike squad that small in assault range and if there only there as a suicide squad to TP the deathwing in, 4 rapid fire plasma shots are better than 2 meltas. The second typhoon will add additional anti-MEQ/anti-mech firepower.

I'm not particularly looking to make any edits to these lists, just wanted to know which one people found most competitive for an upcoming tournament i wish to participate in.

I don't own stuff to swap in/out thus just interested in knowing which one sounds more effective in an all-comers setting, thanks.

Either the top or the bottom. Probably the bottom is best though it is a one trick pony.

The 'deathwing' list tabled Blood Angels today in a 1750 game, adding another pred and 2 ven dreads at that point limit. I think it's feeling pretty solid at 1250 aswell
