Hey Dakka Dakka users. Ages ago I started a threat with a made up list which was purposely bad.

But, I had the models to make the list so I did and it isn't half bad. I am currently 18 wins to 3 loses. However, people are starting to discover my tactic of get in and get out (quick and clean killing), and some people purposely fight me with a list designed to beat (many of them still lose though). However, my mates are getting more tactical and there lists are getting closer and closer to beating me.

The only hole in my list that people take advantage of how I have lots of tanks, so they shoot them and then shoot the troops that were inside. Here is my list;

My current tactic is the dreadknight would go up and burn and shoot any thing that poses a threat to my tanks while my tanks drive up. I then disembark all my units their tanks and they strike weak units. During all this my dreadnought, dreadknight and storm raven will be taking out the vechiles and taking out heavily-armoured units.

It is worth pointing out that my Storm Raven I am not willing to replace as I got it for a gift and I would consider it dis-respectful to exclude it from list if after I asked for it.

I am open to ideas and changes to my list. Please make worthy suggestions on how I can make my army list better against tank busters.

Well, the list needs improvement. Purifiers and Strikes should have psycannons, the Dreadknight teleporter and heavy incinerator, and the Dread psy ammunition and twin tl autocannons. The Termies need a daemon hammer being Dreadnought insurance.

Take a vindicare assassin (great at busting tanks/picking out heavy and special weapons). Get rid of psilances, take psycannons and if ur using GK squads it's always great to give them psybolt ammo

Assuming that you have the libby with termies in SW. Why take quicksilver when all have halberds? I´d spend those points elsewhere.

Stick 1 or 2 hammers into the termi unit, so they'll be able to damage walkers if they need to. Especially since hammerhand applies BEFORE hammer bonus.

*Kallix* I have seen assassins in the past and they're simply not for me what so ever. I will however take some psycannons now as I have just read up on them ...

*Erifin* That is a very good point, I probably did that because I go against a lot of Tyranid Lists. What would you suggest I spend it on instead?

*Cerebrium* I am going to take some hammers as they are brilliant tank busters (S10 with Hammerhand). However, I will have to consider dropping them as I go against Tyranids often, and striking before them is crucial.

For the libby try and replace quicksilver or smite for sanctuary (personally I have killed so many guys with this, specially with nids, if you get assaulted they are bound to lose at least 2-3 genestealers from a full brood, maybe more)

Also, for the Stormraven try TL Plasma cannons, with the str 7 ap 2, thats pretty much an easy wound on nids. You are also allowed to move flat out and have PotMs shoot the plasma which could in turn take out a big chunk of the nid force. Oh and did i mention that it is FREE

I have now made a storm raven with plasma cannons and I have replaced quicksilver for sanctuary, any further advice?
