So I didn't want to do another grey/silver Grey Knight army, and I also wanted a paint scheme that was cool and I could use the Rhnio/Razorbacks from it for my CSM and BT projects as well. So here is what I have so far, let me know what you think!

These will be Warrior Acolytes, that's why they have pistols and bolters attached to their hips/backs

My take on DCA

I can respect that. I know painting an army non-traditional colors is not universally popular and this paint scheme is certainly very far from the expected. Thanks for the compliments though! Much appreciated

You can find a write up about the color scheme here: Capture and Control: My take on a Grey Knights Army

Enzephalon wrote:I like the style and execution but the acolytes and the death cult assassins aren't working for me. Especially the DCA... you can't hide their elvishness by only sticking them on round bases. Some conversions would have been nice.

I did just basic stuff like purity seals, tabards, a few 40k style shoulder pads etc. I can't sculpt to save my life and I wasn't about to have a unit comprised of the same two metal models over and over.

The models are Dark Elf Corsairs with a minimal amount of 40k bits thrown on to make them look slightly less fantastical.

Thanks for all the comments!

Here is a shot of my current 2k list on my finished display board.

Here is a shot of the DCAs and Coteaz taking on a IF Vulkan and readying for a counter assault by some LC Terminators.

Been a while since I updated but here are a few new pictures.

These are 2 alternative models for Grand Masters with Incinerator, and Nemesis Warding Staves. I am currently leaning toward the one on the resin rock base as opposed to the resin "whirlpool" style base.

These are the final models I painted for WargamesCon this coming weekend. I decided to throw some servo skulls, and melta toting Henchmen into the list and so needed the appropriate models!

I apologize for the odd lighting, I will get some much better lit pictures at WargamesCon this weekend.

I haven't updated this in forever but here are a bunch of pictures of things I have never included before. This is the whole army at this point.

The sword is magnetized so you can use the sword, hammer, or dual fists. It is also magnetized to the base and the feet are close enough to fit on a 60mm to be used as a DP as well!
