Just got back into WH40k after a long time and I picked up the Space Wolves Codex and a few odds and ends. I originally wanted to run a full drop pod army based around ragnar blackmane but with his point cost vs a wolf lord or some of the other named characters I just didnt think he was worth it. Ive also heard alot of talk that ragnar isnt worth it unless your running a 2k+ army. I have been tossing a few different ideas around and grey hunter mech with njal does look pretty fun but I want something a little different. I'm looking to do a foot slogging army that packs quiet a punch based around Logan Grimnar. I figure with this list go full wolf guard and laugh at the mass missiles flying. I essential have the black reach SM units (already painted as regular grey hunters and the terms with the regular loadout) , a regular space wolves tact unit (primed), space wolves terminators (primed), and the space wolves battle box (primed) ... kind of want some feed back before I start painting the majority and its too far to turn back (i dont want to go through and magnetize everything). The army is based around having alot of missiles its turned out to have alot of cut and paste, sorry =( .... at 25 missiles with 48" ranged that could be a funny start of the game depending on how the other guy deploys and with footslogging the range cant hurt. I really want to try to squeeze a rune priest into the mix but not sure if id rather drop alot of the extra wargear or a long fang or two. Anyone who has any ideas for mix/maxing or extra info please hit me up. - Pack 1's wargear seems a little excessive with combi meltas and was thinking about dropping some for stormbolters or add a few more wolf guard bodies to another unit. Maybe do not take just missiles. Like a few lascannons would be fun to mix in.
In other words your list is unbalanced either kraks and frags will be the right weapons and you'll win easily or they will be the wrong weapon and you will loose badly.

Irrelevant Complaint: don't mix up models and units, its confusing.
Not a bad Loganwing list. Combi-Meltas for Anti-Tank only are really effective within 6" though (12" threat; movement + melta range). Its hard to get that close to say a Land Raider without the contents having already charged you, unless your in a Transport. You could always take one Long Fang pack with 5 Multi-Meltas and have Logan lead them (giving them Relentless). Doubles your anti-tank range and costs the same.
My OCD dislikes the idea of taking Storm Bolters/Combi-Weapons without giving a Wolf Claw or Power Fist to the same guy for "maximum efficiency". Given your probably going to be shooting at tanks for the first turn or two before you get in combat there isn't any real reason to have them all with Storm Bolters. Leaving them with two combat weapons makes you difficult in combat for normal infantry (4 attacks a piece is fun).
Since your a foot list I'd suggest taking a Lone Wolf at 85 points with a Thunderhammer/Chain Fist, Terminator Armor, and Storm Shield and dropping any power fists from your main squads. Keep him floating between your units, probably on the opposite flank of Logan, and if any unit gets hit by something they can't handle send him in to deal with it. Lets you save a few points (depending on what you take out) and gives you an annoyingly deadly and resilient unit.
Being foot I'd also recommend trying to squeeze in Thunderwolf Cavalry. The 18-24" charge range will save your butt. Downside is it costs 175pts for 3 without storm shields, and if you don't take a WGBL or Wolf Lord to go with them (for the Initiative 5 attacks) they need the Storm Shields. You might not need them, or as many of them, in 1500 points though. To fit the points I'd personally drop down to 2 Long Fang packs but that's me. 1750 is my personal limit for 3 Long Fang packs.
I personally dislike CML so I'd want to take at least 2 Assault Cannons instead. I swear I blow up more vehicles since I switched to an Assault Cannon than when I was taking 2 extra Krak missile shots, but that's probably against the advice you'll get from others.
I'd definitely look at what you are bringing and try to see your weaknesses. Mainly being on foot, you need a rapid reaction force which is why i reccomend the Cavalry. I suppose you coul do the insane thing and make a Wolf Guard Jump Pack squad and keep it scoring... But that gets spendy.

Thanks, ill definitely look into logan with the multi meltas (really liked the idea of 10 wolf guard and him with preferred enemy) .... i thought about dropping in thunderwolf but at 1500 its pretty tight, but your right about having rapid response with a foot slogging since your loose almost all other mobility. I read into a few articles about using lone wolves but I wasnt 100% if they were worth it or not.

Here's what it is looking like now ... if I up the list to 1750 Thunderwolves will be the first thing added I just couldnt fit them. I had to cut the stormbolters and chainfists and x1 combi melta from one of the squads to add the lone wolf but the list comes out to a even 1500 now and keeps the missile spam.

Going second will hurt. 5 man units don't last long. If it were me I'd merge 4 of them into 2 10 man units with 2 CML each. You can use the 5 man to hold your home objective. At 1500 points, 20 power armor'd marines on foot should survive long enough to get to the enemy, if you are smart about it. With all the Missiles you should be able to keep vehicles shaken or destroy them.
You'll have to do a few playtests at this point IMO, and see if you are really missing the Thunderwolves. List building only goes to a point, then you need to play and see how things interact.
