Hello,

Brand new to all things 40k and going to be starting an Eldar army and was wondering the tournament legality of the Corsairs and the like from the imperial armor 11 and newer books.

Like all "legality" questions it comes down to: ask the TO

Noone here, unless they are also the TO of the tourney you are going to, can categorically state a yes or no to the question

So would someone playing a standard space marine list feel the need to discuss such things with a TO if his list fit the point and foc criteria?

I guess if playing Corsairs means ask the TO at every event if there allowed, there not generally tournament legal I would presume.
