BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!!

It is the 3rd Millennium. For more than a hundred months Games Workshop has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Nottingham. It is the foremost of wargames by the will of the neckbeards, and master of a million tabletops by the might of their inexhaustible wallets. It is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with business strategies from the early Industrial Revolution Age. It is the Carrion Lord of the wargaming scene for whom a thousand veteran players are sacrificed every day, so that it may never truly die. Yet even in its deathless state, GW continues its eternal vigilance. Mighty battleforce starter-sets cross the online-store-infested miasma of the internet, the only route between distant countries, their way lit by a draconian retail trade-agreement, the legal manifestation of the GW's will. Vast armies of lawyers give battle in GW's name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst its soldiers are the Guardians of the IP, the Legal Team, bio-engineered super-donkey-caves. Their comrades in arms are legion: the writing team and countless untested rulebooks, the ever vigilant redshirts, and the writers of White Dwarf, to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from other games, their own incompetence, Based Chinaman - and worse. To support Games Workshop in such times is to spend untold billions. It is to support the cruelest and most dickish company imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of sales discounts and Warhammer Fantasy Battle, for so much has been dropped, never to be re-published again. Forget the promise of cheaper digital content and caring about the fanbase, for in the GW HQ there is only profit-seeking, Space Marines and Sigmarines. There is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies.

Tzeentch, because this has all happened before, and will happen again, exactly according to plan.

I actually change.

Tzeentch in general cos he's the main mon. (ps, love the post above)..and I love me Ahriman....

but in game terms I generally use Khorne. More interesting troops in my opinion and with every army having a psychic hood/runes/shadows in the warp/something else to bone psykers over... Ahriman just seems like a waste of time to me.

All of them are very interesting, but nothing beats screaming "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD" as you sprint like an unstoppable animal towards your scared gakless, soon-to-be-in-pieces enemies.

Nurgle, since he welcomes all without question, unlike the others. Khorne would gut you on a whim, Tzeentch's a backstabbing prick who's into feather porn, while Slaanesh...don't get me started.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

Mine are Tzeentch and Zuvassin, it'd make a great sitcom.

Not yet...so long as the Emperor's body remains confined to the Golden Throne, He can't use His full god powers. Even when the Throne finally fails, knowing the Emperor, He'd probably just restore His body to restore direct Imperial rule over the Imperium.
