Hey all, i would love some feedback on this list i will be running in a tournament later this month. its a 1500 point list (also my first time posting a list so sorry for anything confusing).

Shield (Quick question, does this work much like the ork KFF? ie. castable in transports and gives vehicles a save too)

3x five man assault with Meltagun, mounted in Las/plas Razorbacks

2x Baal Preds with TL Assault Cannon and HB sponsons
1x Baal Pred with Flamestorm and heavy flamer sponsons

Heavy Support
3x Vindicator with hunter killer missiles



That should be 1494 points, let me know what you guys think.

io run a list similiar to this

i would sub two of the vindicators for predatores with autocannon and las cannon sponsoons

and the flamestorm Baal for another troops choice

The list isn't bad, but could do with more troops and also Priests. You've invested into fast attack and heavy support tanks too much - drop one of each. You also don't need the sponsons on the Baals, they are expensive and don't do a lot.

The Librarian shield works for all units, this includes vehicles.

Cool thanks for the help! i have more marines and razorbacks in the mail right now, so ill switch some tanks for more of them. And thanks for the clarification on the shield rule.

Trying to line up Baals to use the templates is both hard and risky as the enemy will line up badly and so he can counter assault.

I would prefer preds over vindis, just as you can choose to sit back, they are better at antitank and also they are cheaper.

Then I think having only 15 men as scoring then maybe the priest could be worth it.

It is a toss up between another razorback and keeping a Baal. I think the Baal is worth it just as having three improves their value.

Then yes shield acts a bit like the kff. Psychic powers can happen from vehicles, non shooting powers at least. Vehicles get cover saves which is reason for taking it, hopefully loose troops will be in cover already. The psychic hood also works inside vehicles.
