Odd that it'd be locked to a network like that as well, though like the iPhone someone will come along and fix that probably quickly. Not like Sony has had some odd restriction to mostly everything they've made lately.

So... I don't really understand. Yeah, if you want to use 3G you have to go with AT&T, but it's not like you need that at all. Maybe it's just me, but I don't really have time to use a portable gaming device, and the times that I would I'll most likely be on a plane and not able to use 3G anyway, so what's the problem?

Agreed. If it has wifi, then I dont give a gak about what service providers it does or doesnt have. I game at home, and therefor dont need a service plan
