Yeah, title pretty much says it all. I'm about to get myself a large quantity of Skeletons (Mantic Games Skeletons).
But I'm kind of confused when it comes to how I should spray them...
Up to now, I've been spraying my other units (Grave Guard, Black Knights, Dire Wolves) black. Didn't really mind painting over it as I spent time to ensure quality on each of these.
But I don't feel like painting Bleached Bone, then two layers skull white on 120 Skeletons if it can be avoided.
So, should I go with grey or white spray? Or some other spray? I've been considering white, then just paint the non-bone stuff on the models, and finish by washing/dipping them... But I've also heard that it's better to spray grey and paint white.
So yeah... What say you? Enlighten me with your Dakka wisdom!

Why not just spray with something close to Bleached Bone? Quick touch up with brushed Bleached Bone for any bits missed, drybrush white (or a mixture of white and Bleached Bone, depending on how delicate your dry-brushing is), paint any other details, then wash.

I would go with a white primer, then immediately wash heavily with baddab black, then a heavy drybrush of bleached bone, a lighter wash of delvan mud, and finally a light drybrush of bleached bone. Should be fast and easy (only drybrushing and washing) and still look good.

I do Black, khermi brown librel dry brush, then komanndo khaki dry brush, bleached bone dry brush, then wash with mix of 5:1 black brown from Vallejo and GW yellow ink, heavily watered. Finally a little more bleached bone with a little white added in, for highlights.

See link in my sig for plog.
