Hi I just wanted to show off my first painted model, a grey knight. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Nice first go!
I do have a bit of constructive critisism however. First and foremost I would clean up those mold lines. I wold also consider giving the amour a blue wash then over brusing it with chainmail. This would bring out the recesses and make the model better overall. Feel free to ignore my advice, as the model looks good as it is.
Cheers,

Looks good!

If I may provide a couple tips/observations based on my extraordinarily marginal painting talent

1) Looks pretty clean for a first attempt. "Cleanliness" really stands out when looking at a unit from across a table.

2) Look into GW washes. I personally like a 50/50 mix of Badab Black and Devlan Mud when painting my Necrons. Washes will bring out the small details and give the model quite a bit of depth for what amounts to very minimal effort.

3) Trust me, you are going to get much better very quickly. Pick up and practice a few basic brush skills and the results will soon be night and day. Don't base YOUR personal results against some of the amazing painters on here. Simply look to improve upon what YOU are doing.

Thanks for posting!

Having recently finished my first few models as well, I must say congrats, that looks quite nice man. Very clean looking, good coloring.
I would agree with the the other comments (not that I have any room to talk) that the washes could probably help add some depth to the model. I certainly find that they yield nice results for virtually no work, hah hah.

Keep it up though! Good stuff!

You're off to a great start. I love the face. The paleness of it mixed with the dark eyes is just creepy.

There is no overkill. Only open fire and reload
