Subject: Temple Guard Price Advice?

Cold-Blooded Saurus Warrior
|
Temple Gaurd. I'm planning to field like 50 of them. But, they cost like $50 for 10. I don't want to spend a quarter of a thousand dollars, so what do I do?

The Restrictions I Put On My Tallarn Lists:
- Missile Launchers are the only HW teams allowed in Infantry Squads.
- All units able to take the FW Desert Raider special rule, must take it in lists of 750 points or more.
- 1 unit of 10 Rough Riders is required for lists of 1000 points or more.
- 2 units of Mukaali Rough Riders are required for lists of 1000 points or more.
- No vehicles besides Chimera Armoured Transports and Hydra Flak Tank Batteries are allowed.
- Al'Rahem is required in lists of 1000 points or more. |

Fantasy: 4000 - WoC, 1500 - VC, 1500 - Beastmen
40k: 2000 - White Scars

Just hang giant clocks around their necks and give them all a gold tooth or grill. Then people will know they mean business. Really though I would agree with the conversion idea. Assuming you can work with plasticard/green stuff at least.

Well, as a first step there is no reason to ever field more than 30 Temple Guard, unless you have some wacky fluff list idea. Mainly because Temple Guard are rubbish, but that's a different issue.
If you really must field them, how about having the front rank or 2 Temple Guard, then just Saurus for the rest.
