Yes, if you go 5 wide and fill the front rank with the CMD, and the war-litter, you could place the BSB in the back rank.

I vote combat, if you already have the minis. However; a grey seer at 1k is mean.

The only thing I'd change from the combat list is to make the warlock a lv.2 with energy condenser. At 1K D6+2 STR 5 can make a difference, and it'll give you a magic phase worth playing.
To get the points, just drop 5 slaves from the 45 block, 1 gutter runner, and swap the ogre blade for a halberd on the warlord.
