So I am getting ready to start an army of Vampire Counts and what rules we can glimpse from the latest WD is that a Ghoul King comes with a 5+ regen,

My question is what would happen if I then equip him with the Seed of Rebirth, would his regen increase to 4+? Do regen saves stack?

I can not find anything in the rulebook to state what would happen in this instance, as far as I know the Ghoul King is unique in being a character that come with a regen so there is no FAQ either.

I am thinking the answer is no but want some answers from my wise fellow Dakkites

Thats what I thought however could find nothing ruleswise about this in the BRB, do you have a page number? just in case some sneaky VC player tries the same idea on me

The simple fact that there are no rules anywhere explaining how to stack them is proof enough. Only armor, MR+ward, and army specific rules (MoT) stack.

Does it say they CAN stack? If not then they cannot, because the rues are permissive

The model simply has two sources of regen

Thanks for clearing that up folks, thought it didn't stack but couldn't get my head round as to why, my brain must still be in holiday mode

Different ward saves cannot be combined to increase a model's chance of saving. If a model has more than one ward save, simply use the best.

The Mortis Engine specifically says it stacks with a unit's regeneration, implying that this is not normally the case.

Change and change until Change is our master, for nothing neither God nor mortal can hold that which has no form. Change is the constant that cannot be changed.

No game of chess can be won without pawns, and this may prove to be a very long game.
