Hey Guys!
Here are some of my Dire Avenger test models that I've painted. As you can see I couldn't really decide on what colors to use so I tried out a few different and would now like your opinions on them ( Both my painting and the colour schemes).

Thanks!

The second one (from left) is the best. The others look like unfinished versions of this one.

I like the muted colors on the hair piece for the third one.

The shading on number 2 is excellent. I like the stark colors in the plume on the helmet from 2 as well. I like the idea of the multicolored "tumors" as my friend calls them (I think their actually called soul stones?) but I would make them colors that are higher contrast, the purple doesn't pop nor does the blue. The blood (if that's what it is) on the base of 2 seems out of place for eldar.

You could strap a pantsless ork on something and make it look Imperial with enough Aquillas and Purity Seals. -Da Butcher

Number 4 IMO. It looks finished and doesn't have too many annoyingly bright colors popping out like too many Eldar models/schemes

They all look pretty good though.

It also helps that there is only one color for all of the gems on this model. The random bright colors make the others feel disjointed to me.

Middle left, without a doubt. His colors are really vibrant and he doesn't look muddy like some of the others.
