hey guys, I was on GW and noticed a box of both Horms and terms. I also noticed that it say Unit Composition: 8-32 Gaunts. Could this mean that they are planning to merge the gaunt broods and boost tyranids model count?

That's the old box from 4th edition. They separated the two when the 5th edition book came out (and at a price decrease too, I might add)

It was still a price increase. They halved the box, and added another 4 to each, but the split box was still nearly the same price as the old box. It wasn't as bad as the Cadian split, but it definitely wasn't a price decrease.

16 models for USD 35 is 2.18 per model.

12 models for USD 25 is 2.08 per model. Gaunts actually received a 10 cent per model price drop when they split the boxes.

Well they do NOW. When they were split they came out for 24.75

It was definitely a price decrease.

Not much of a price decrease, but it still was one (and the further utility of separate boxes added even more value).

Aye. It was originally 25.75USD when the individual box sets came out.
When GW finally did the math and realized how preposterous this price drop was, they made sure to fix it in the next annual price hike.
