I'm taking part in a league next month thats got some house rules that prevents me from taking my usual list (war alter and 2 warrior priests)
Basically these are the rules:

Its 2400 points
No Named Characters
No unit including characters to cost more than 450 points (so no deathstars to face)
No more than 3 power dice and 2 dispel dice to be generated in addition to that of channeling or winds of magic (basically preventing me taking the 2 extra warrior priests)
No more than 5 Artillery pieces

I would like to use some stuff i've never used before such as General on griffon or peg captain, i usually take Walter and a block of 30 flaggies. So has anyone got a list they'd like to share

There are 3 Empire lists at the Masters this weekend, all of which are fairly solid so they'd be a decent starting point.

And they would be... Link at all to the lists or do i actually have to go to "the Masters" to see them. What is the masters anyways, never heard of it.

It's an invitational between the top 15 ranked players in the country and the defending Master, played at Maelstrom. So pretty much some of the best players in the country, with some of the best lists around.

Nope nothing to do with the uk tornament scene at all, the only tornament i'e been to so far is the recent doubles at warhammer world where we came 25th out of 100 with Empire-Ogres

Those are some brutal restrictions - would certainly change our local meta. Let me know what you come up with but For certain I'd be running something like:

Pope Mobile

Lvl 4 Wiz (shadow)

30 flags + prophet

50 swords + detatchemnts of 15 Halbs, 10 Muskets

2 Mortars, 2 Cannons (which is all I ever usually run) and a Steam Tank?

I'd try the pegasus Captain. Also where would you put your BSB captain? (Assuming he's AOMI and Dawnstone for 125 points). That leaves a unit of..... well, 50 swords actually will work since they're only 325 with command.

Have you ever tried Outriders? I hear they're great! I've been dying to give them a run and this seems like a good opportunity to run a few units of 5.

Iv had some great success with outriders personally. On the one hand, they have some downsides (Mof weaponry, multiple shots penalty) but on the other, their extra BS makes up for the multiple shots penalty, the extra range means you shouldnt need to move too much (just vanguard them up a flank and reform to be facing down the pitch, so to speak) and can threaten things from much further away, unlike pistoliers and the fact that they have multiple shots means that a basic unit of 5 can potentially dish out quite a bit of hurt, certainly enough to see of light/medium cavalry units

The big restriction is the 450 point unit thing, which is quite anoying as its including characters aswell. So where would i put my lvl4 wizard.... and i'm not to sure if it includes the detachments or not, i'll have to ask.

Deffo taking the popemoblie and flaggies, Peg captain, and a BSB-dawnstone-AOMI. The 5 warmachine restriction is ok by me, 2 cannon, mortar, helstorm, and helblaster/steam tank is probably what i'll take.
Still faffin about with lists, i'll post one up when i decide lol
