So I decided not to use the swarmlord because he his kinda waste of points.

So i have 28 points left, i can either add another power to the hive tyrant or add 2 more genestealers.

Also does a set of scything talons count as a pair of CC weapons do I get +1 attacks? (and also it reroll 1s ofcourse)

So basicly I think I will deploy both, or can you deep strike them? (sorry been reading the 6th edition rules where jump infantry can now deep strike)

If not I will either reserve everything or have both tyrant on the board hiding behind cover and by turn 2 my turn, everything of my should arrive and kill as much as possiable since I got 2 hive commander and that is +2 to my reserve rolls of unless i get a 1 then everything is comming on turn 2.

So a few quick things, Tyranids never gain the additional ccw bonus for multiple weapons, bonuses are included in the profiles already. Second, the hive commander bonuses don't stack or allow for 2 units to be outflanked.

Now for the army, id drop the other tyrant, you only need one. Give the flying tyrant some decent ranged gear to help pop tanks open tanks so your 'stealers can go in. Everything else looks fine so far and as long as you wanna stick with the genestealer theme it id try and squeeze in toxin sacs on them.

There is no victory like complete and total Domination!

Unless it breaks the theme of your list, I would consider swapping the Hive Tyrant (as Da Blak Gobbo said, you should really only play one) with the Swarmlord.

He gives the +1 to reserves, but also allows you to re-roll which side your outflanking units get. Not to mention giving the Genestealers preferred enemy or furious charge is pretty scary.

I have thought about swarmlord myself as, if going big on stealers, there is often a "wrong" side to outflank on and at least 1 stealer squad spends 3 turns running across the board.

If you do take him he needs 1-2 tyrant guard to keep him alive. I would also look at dropping some zoeys and giving him some hive guard to accompany him across the board.

Also, I am finding there is more versatility in 4 smaller broods of say 10-12 than 3 large broods of 16-17.

First of all, dual scything talons do not give an extra attack, but allow you to reroll all misses in close combat, as clearly stated in the codex.

Second, hive commander does not stack with a second tyrant with hive commander, so you've wasted 25 points. The only way to get +2 to your reserve rolls is by combining the swarmlord with a hive commander tyrant (or with a lictor).

Finally, you may want to consider some hive guard instead of zoanthropes. Zoanthropes are great in the absence of psychic defense, but eldar, space wolves, and anyone who brings a psychic hood can really shut them down.

Good points, I will see if I can bring some big gun on the tyrant and I will see about getting some guard to keep my tyrant alive

Also yes I will make the genestealer squads smaller.

But if I add hive guard then I don't see the use of wings on my tyrant.

Also now the tyrant and hiveguard count as 1 kill point lol.

I would not take the zoanthropes. With alot of armies having counters to psychic powers you may not even get to fire with half of them then you have to hope you hit after you get off the power. Hive guard are a much more reliable choice. Most of my armies include 2 x 3 hive guard and a venomthrope to make sure your MC's and front squad get a cover save.

If you add 2 genestealers to make it 1750, then drop the zoanthropes in pods you can add in 2 x 3 hiveguard and a venomthrope then add broodlords to all your squads and add 1 set of TL brainleech devourers to each hive tyrant. Instead of hive commander on both tyrants you can give one old adversary which is pretty badass.
