A lot of stores are now carrying IA books, even non-battle bunkers. But from what I understand, it does depend on the store, so you might find a closet with some in stock and a bunker without them.
I will give the closer GW a ring tomorrow. Then go from there. There is a tourney near by that is allowing some IA units in a standard game, I was thinking of running the Tomb Stalker but I need the finalized rules.

All the GWs I have been in have stocked IA books but I doubt its common policy. When in doubt, phone ahead.
Battlebunkers most likely stock them if anywhere. I believe they also carry some FW products but its not high volume.
