As the title implies, I have a question on 40k bikes...

As I am starting to purchase my CSM army, and influenced by a Witchery song, I want to do a unit of "plague riders".. Chaos Bikers with Mark of Nurgle.

The problem that I have, is that I hate the look of marine bikes, and I was wondering if the Ork Bikes are the same "proportions" at the seat end of the bike. I like the "chopper" look of the Ork bikes, and would convert them to be more Nurgley and whatnot, provided the rider's legs can fit where they are designed to without too much extra work.

Looking specifically at the seat area, I'd say they look similar. I don't own any of either model so I can't confirm with my own eyes unfortunately.

I've seen cool conversions of marine bikes with extended front ends that look like choppers. Very cool. Try looking for a guide.

You can use the newly released Vampire Counts skeletal horses. Your bikers would look grim reaper-y (and the kit comes with scythes FROM HEEEEEEEELLLLL).

I have both csm bike and ork bikes and they are pretty much equal in size. You might have to tweak the handle bars a bit but other than that a normal csm should fit on an ork bike just fine.

If you want to go for an ork bike look I think it would be a better idea to just buy csm bikes and convert the the front axel like this:

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.
