I am having trouble with my white scars at 1k points. I can't seem to pull off a clean victory although I can get alot of ties in capture and control missions. I currently have:
1 Captian who I run on a bike with a relic blade and storm shield. If I have the points I give him hellfire rounds.
3 Land speeders with heavy bolters and typhoon missle launchers.
1 Land speeder with an assault cannon and heavy bolter.
10 tatical marines with a power weapon, melta gun, and plasma cannon, (usually in the drop pod trying to pop a tank on round one then harras with the plasma cannon.)
1 Drop pod
1 Combat squad (no upgrades. I use it to camp objectives in the las/plas razorback)
1 razor back, las/plas 3 Biker sergants, (2 power weapon, 1 powerfist)
15 regular bikers
4 melta gun bikers
2 plasma gun bikers
3 multi melta bikers
The bikers are usually combat squaded so I have the sergant and two special weapons in one group and the multi melta biker in another group with three bikers to take hits for him.
5 sniper scouts with a rocket launcher
5 tunder hammer termies
5 lightning claw termies
I had orignally been using these in variations during 1500 or 1750 point games but latly all we do is 1000 point battles and I have had little success. Anyone have any ideas on what I should just forget in my list at 1000 points? I have tried not taking bikers and taking just bikers but I always seem to be out numbered even by other marine players.
