Subject: Laying on the line between front and side armour. What happens?

If you're laying on a line between front and side armour and you target the vehicle, being able to see both facings, which gets hit? I argued I could see side, but my friend insisted I should hit the front, despite both being in view. It being my shooting attack, I assumed I could choose the facing. Much arguing ensued.
Any rule that clears this up?

You actually determine the facing by extending the box of the vehicle, Back corner to front corner extending to your model to determine facing. It's easy for most vehicles as most the odd shaped ones have the same front/side armor

If your shot truly lies on the line between the front/side or the rear/side armour then you would roll a D6 to determine which facing you hit.

Create a line at a 45 degree angle out from the corner of the tank and use that line to determine on which facing each model lies. If it's dead even or it's so close that you can't reasonably do it without a protractor, then flip a coin or roll a D6.

This.
However, if you are straddling the line of 2 different facings with a model, there are no rules to cover this situation.
Ghaz's D6 method would be the most fair In that case. I would use it.

If its a unit of multiple models, check each model to determine facing. If it is a single model, all you can do is d6 it.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Thx, I was about to ask this very question. I thought my opponent had cheated me, but it turns out he didn't.
