I've been running da Orks as my main force for nearly two years now, and have up to this point used a horde- based army. I recently found some toys that will convert nicely into a few trukks, so I went ahead and threw together a list I think would be fun to play with the models I have. Maybe it is slightly textbook, but I have yet to try this tactic at all and want to start with what seems to me to be a pretty basic list upon my reflection. Note that da Boss and da Mek each go with one of the Nob squads in the trukks. Koptas usually outflank. I am considering putting the 25 points that is now the Mek's klaw into a buzz saw for one of the koptas. Tell me what you guys think.

You'll probably find rocket buggies better, as they really fit in with your list.

try a warboss in a boyz trukk. This will give you three real killer trukks.
Maybe saving points by dropping nobs to get more trukks and rocket buggies. Av10 is soft so you want loads.

I like the idea of buggies, but lack the models. I have koptas and potentially 6 trukks, and koptas have served me well in the past. i have a few battlewagons too, but I don't see them as synergistic as I'd like for this list, maybe i'll include them for the jump to 2000 points. I definately like the model count better with this revised list, I'm putting the Warboss with a boy's squad as you suggested.
