I had a funny idea for Trukk list. I know trukks..CAN be killed easily but any one can just say...OH well I can wipe out your whole army with this one unit of STR - Whatever because I will automatically assume I go first and never miss any of my shots.have the correct distance and roll well on the ranshackle table etc.

This list I believe has too many trukks and funny stuff on it. With three super nob squads their priority will be too focused off my troops holding objectives and with two of them with KFF and my kopters and my heavy support Specifically targeting their heavy support.

So with my Zap Guns and Rockets taking out any tanks they have or heavy support. Even IF they pop one of my troops and start taking them out with units of foot guys. They have super nob squads to take care of which your a FOOL if you can try to argue that anything in the game can just walk accross them. Especially three of them in a trukk. Trukks can move 18 inches.

So when I play this list and all my opponent see's is trukks and some kopters and big guns. He is gonna be lulled into a false sense of security. Thinking he has already won the game because all it is is trukks and than when he has made all the mistakes of not actually trying to beat meh I will have already wiped out half his army.

Do your nobs have wagons, trukks or cannons?

Anyway at 2500 pts orks really struggle. That is battlewagon spam is really the only viable option.
I fit more trukks and rocket buggies(av10 as well, it still counts) at 1500 pts?

At 2500 pts most enemies can deal with the full 9 trukks and 9 buggies, which is the full fast av10 army.

I like and play a half shooty, half green tide army so i see where you are coming from.
You want kannons not zzap guns, they are better apart from against av14. Also they want tons of lootas for company. Also especially at this points level they need a meat shield, as most armies can make a reasonable attempt to alpha strike vulnerable units at the back.

If you are set on Koptas, you should increase them or go down to 1. As it stands, as soon as 1 dies, the other is likely to run off the board.

I think the rest of the list hurts your concept. Honestly if I wanted to out vehicle I'd do this

2 kff
3 units of lootas
6 10 boy mobsw/rokkit
6 trukk rokkit ram
9 buggies with rokkit
9kans with rokkit. Or 3 looted wagons

The trukks are empty. This gives you 9 TL rokkits 9 bs 3 ones and 12 bs 2 ones. Not to mention all the lootas.
That's 13 rokkit hits a turn.
Not to mention he now has to manage to kill 24 vehicles. Good luck.

If you want to go for a trukk list, get as many trukks as you can, from what I see, your nob squads don't have trukks, and you could have 1 more boyz squad in a trukk. Trukk lists lack anti-tank, so you're going to want to tank shock all the vehicles you can. That's why you need re-inforced ram. I know you have the big gunz in the back, but at 2500 points zzap guns are not going to cut it. make them kannons. I would also drop a unit of big gunz so you can afford the trukks for the rest of the boyz.

hmm. I see. So instead of Koptas you guys think buggies might be abetter choice or something like storm boyz?

I like both ideas from bombboy and docbrown.
Maybe I will try a hybrid of both lists once I get the last two trukks I need.

The only reason I put stormboyz in is because I like the models, you would deffinetly be better off going with buggies.
