If you charge / attack an enemy in the flank, does that enemy unit lose its rank bonus? Especially if that enemy unit is engaged with one of your other units. Can you negate that rank bonus by charging and attacking it in the flank? I believe I read that and tried looking again for it but couldn't find it. Clarification on this is welcome. Even if anyone knows off the top of their heads where in the BRB it is. Thanks in advance.

It depends.
If you charge in the flank with something that doesnt have a Rank then you cannot disrupt the flank.

Eg, You attack with a Lord on a steed. You do not disrupt the Flank.
You attack with 5 Swordmasters - You disrupt the flank in this case as the Swordmasters have a rank.
The one im not 100% on is if a monster attacks. Will need to look that one up.

I was actually wrong on this.
It seems the flank chargers need 2 ranks of 5 men to disrupt a flank.

Thanks. Wanted to make sure what types of charges will disrupt the rank bonus so they can't use the rank bonus in combat resolution.

Just remeber that rank bonus /= ranks, and it is Ranks that determines whether youa re Steadfast.
