The scale of the problem is huge, and, this blog here is a way for me to keep track of my progress through the horde of unbuilt and unpainted minitures i still need to do.... Hopefully will be finished this time next year!!

This image i hope gives a small glimpse of what i have yet to do.. alot of these models need taking apart to remodel them since they are in terrible positions, guess thats what i get for buying used models, alot of paint stripping to be done as well!

In addition to those in the photos there is another 57 Chaos Marines, 2 Rhinos, Set of raptors, daemon prince and a dreadnought.

What i'm not planning on getting done this year... is the dvd box (about 40 cm by 10 cm by 8 cm) full to the brim with goblins... and they aren't on the sprue :( so god knows how many there are there.

Planning on starting with a small squad of ~16 Orcs with a bit of music, some banner and a boss with them.

I'm going to need paint... lots of paint

Have managed to work together step 1, which ended up being 20 orcs instead of 16, 2 models i'm not happy with are the standard bearer, and the guy directly behind him, they have very unnatural poses sadly. The guy on the left 2nd from the back has had a bit of "warm up" greenstuffery but nothing worth photographing. Painting shall commence wednesday, its been a long time since i've painted, so... aiming to have something to show by saturday! the photo quality is terrible but if anyone can see anything that they're suggest for sorting please do say i shall be getting more ambitious with the next squad!
