Hey dakka,

This past weekend I got a box of Plaguemarines, and have been diligently working on this, which is my first box of a new army... I am now to the point where these guys are essentially done, with only a couple super tiny details to touch up.

You nailed the traditional plague marine look, they look really good. Also the basses and rust effects are really good and they give the models some extra oomph.

Looks great, but I think if you painted the outer ring of the bases to cover up the wash marks it would make them look fantastic! Great models!

I originally thought that the wash marks looked cool like that, but tried out your suggestion, and have to say Thanks!! I think it gave them much more of a "finished" look, than a WIP sort of look that the wash had.
