Like most people i use a carnifex as a base for my tervigon but once all finished i realised it's never gonna fit on that tiny base!

Would it be legal to put it on a larger base like the one for a trygon?

That is what mine use. Every one I have seen actually, including in tournaments.

There's no guideline for base sizes for models that don exist.

All the MC's I know of with stats similar to the Tervigon (in regards to things like Toughness and Wounds) use the large oval base. I think it would be fair to use the same for the Tervigon.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Dreadknights are 6t 4w - the same as a Carnifed, but use the larger base.

There's no consistency, and no requirement, for what base size to use. I'd use the Carnifex base as that's the models you based your conversion on.

I don't think there's a defined legal base for Tervigons, but I know my roommate uses the large ovals for both Tervigons and Tyrannofexes.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there are only rules disputes.

As a general rule of thumb, just use a base that looks appropriate for the model, and you'll rarely have any issues.
