If i have forgotten to login and then decide to comment i will be taken to the forum index after login, i just find it a little annoying when this happens as i have to navigate back to the page.

It's a very minor thing but it would be nice if after login in that situation you were linked to the post reply page for that thread. Or whatever page you logged in from.

The links are a bit funky for the login redirection to prevent some security exploits. You can only post after being logged in and viewing the main thread to prevent automated scripts from hijacking you and posting under your username without your knowledge.

Ah ok then. That makes sense. And it must help as ive never seen a bot post on dakka.
