Can anyone explain how the time of a post works?

When I see other posters times, do I see them at the time they were posted in my time zone or in their time zone? Like if someone on the eastern side of the US posts something and I see the time of posting at 14:00, is that 14:00 my time or their time?

All the times are based off of your time where your time equals the time zone you chose in your profile, iirc.

Pretre is correct. All server times are in GMT+0 and that is the default displayed. All times you see are adjusted to your local time zone.

You know it is Monday when I spent some time trying to figure out if I had selected the right time zone, why it was displaying the wrong time.

(My brain was translating 14:00 as 4:00PM.)
