Hey guys...so I'm at the game store today putting away my skorne army after a rough match and some Magic: the Gathering jerk walks by on his way to the bathroom and knocks over all of my foam cases (they were out of the bag) obliterating my nicely painted army...

The damage is mostly fixable...but some models are chipped up something fierce...anyone know any good tricks to make these chipped up parts blend in to the rest of the model?

Pics would help. Usually painting over them with the same technique and paint colors would suffice. Do you by any chance varnish your models? Because that prevents chipping and reduces wear and tear.

Well if they are too badly chipped, strip and repaint if possible.

Oh yeah, they were varnished...but no amount of varnish will protect a model from a 4 foot fall onto a linoleum floor.

It looks like I'm having some success using the "army painter" goop to cover some of the badly cracked areas...I'll have to wait until it dries to be sure though.

You're best bet if a touch-up doesn't work is to just admit defeat and strip them.

Then go curb-stomp the mtg player as your paint dries...

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

Yeah it's a shame...the most beat up model was my pride and freaking joy...tyrant xerxis (I did freehand on his cape for god's sake!).

I think he might pull through...we shall see.

How old was the paint job on him anyway.

Well for fixing it you can. This is how I fix it: Say my guardsmen's hand has had some chipping, so I wana fix it. I paint the skinof my guardsmen dwarf fleh then get scorched brown and make a wash with it and wash the skin. So the way to fix it would to be mix atiny bit of scorched brown with my dwarf flesh so when I paint it again it blends in as the skin is washed so it stains the paint darker. This can be adopted to any colour. I've actually done this aswell so it does work.
