Just an idea I've been toying with... Obviously I would plan to include any monsters etc in this list, and haven't really given it a lot of thought as yet...

At low points cost I think this would be a disaster, but might be workable at 2500+

Would have to include a lot of marauders cav, most of them with LA and SH so no longer fast cav,along with a couple of scent units of knights, some chariots, Warhounds, prob a war altar and some big beasties...

I'd assume this would be hopeless as a competitive army but might be fun themed army project...

Thoughts...?

Tzeentch Knights with double Warshrine in a 30 knight hoard would be awesome. 1 up armor 3 up ward anyone.

Thought only infantry/monstrous infantry could horde...?

And does the ward stack...?

It would certainly look nice. I love horses.

Think it would need to be either 2x 20 knights, or 1x20 and 2x10 for hitting power, ranked up in 5s to around 1500pts

By the time characters are in at approx 7-800pts leaves only around enough for around 40-50 marauder horse, or maybe some hounds for shields. Tempted by a shrine but too slow moving... Or maybe a hellcannon for serious support!

Think I'll have to draft a list...

I have been thinking about this as a second army-which is a bit premature but hey!!

I was just wondering if Chariots would fit in anywhere in this army??

I think a couple of chariots would be an excellent idea; not too expensive and fill in the gaps between the bigger units with some hard hitting flanking options. Would be tempted with a few cheap Warhounds to screen the inevitable points-fest knights too
