I want to start a thread discussing how Necrons might face the comming challanges that await them at adepticon. First up on the list: Grey Knights?

How are Necrons going to stand up to the Palley Lists?

They will do as well as any non-deficient codex (tau daemons, and to a lesser extent tyrannies). Good generals will do well with them, mediocre generals will do ok and bad generals will lose.

Like most 5th edition codices its very difficult to give a straight answer to how well will X army do against Y because there are a large number of potential builds. All are competitive, but none the less will matchup differently against certain armies.

A mobile Necron list will probably have the edge over Paladins, as will AV13 wall lists and any build which maxes out its Lance Crypteks, along with a host of other builds. The one build which will almost certainly get crushed by Paladins is the Scarab farm list, which most people recognize as a fairly gimmicky build anyway but it will show up.

That is the level of discussion I"m looking to have.

What do Necrons have that can combat Paladins.

Lance Cyrpteks, AV 13; are effective.

Then we'd say, how are Necrons getting around Wolves, and JAWW?
