A friend and I played some extra-large battles of Song of Blades and Heroes last week. An XL SoBH battle is still a rather small skirmish compared to WHFB, but it was a nice chance to try and stretch the SoBH Game Engine a bit. Rather than the standard 300 point battle, we played 500 and 1000 point battles with a few house rules added to keep either player from failing out too early.
