i like it, although, i would probably drop one squad of guards and drop toxin sacs and upgrade the trygons to prime and maybe another upgrade

You have very little shooting and no quick way to get the units into CC. I would be tempted to put ranged weapons on at least 2 units of warriors and then run the other two. Primes can bounce between units if needed, but at least one will need to keep the hive guard in synapse and so can't jsut run forward into CC. Trygons I prefer with AG.

My mate has almost the same list as you.

However, your army is very advanced in combat, but I know from experience that the best armies excel in shooting and combat.

Take advantage of the Prime making your Warriors BS4. Give them shooting weapons.

I like the idea of giving your primes bone swords, it may go horribly wrong though.

One bad thing about the whole list is be cautious of Grey Knight lists, they are likely to walk straight through you if your not careful!!!!

That is a good list, I defiantely suggest still keeping one trygon if not a trygon prime however. Drop some of the hive guard and take a Trygon Prime. Trygon Prime's are amazing in close combat and 7 attacks on the charge and 6 wounds basically means you're always going to win against most infantry units and tanks.

However, besides what I have metioned, that list is good on many levels and you are defiantely taking advantage of your Prime making your warriors BS 4 !

Problem now is that you have no way of dealing with heavy armour. Hive guard S8 is fine for armour 12 or less, but otherwise it's a stretch to get them to do much to 13/14.

Your rending warriors are still only S4, so glancing 13 at absolute best. Sticking AG on these might help, but only to a point.

I think a unit of zoanthropes may be required if you don't play MCs.

I would bring the Trygons back and make at least one of them a prime. The revised list does look better with all those guns.

Your warriors need a coversave pretty much all the time. Throw in 15 or 20 gants. I play a warrior star list that I have wiped tau and blood angels with. I use what I call a warriorstar. It's 5warriors + prime or 6 warriors all with twin boneswords and adrenal glands:

Warrior Prime 90
Twinboneswords and scything talons

5 warriors 225
2 x Twin boneswords and scything talons, 1 x twin boneswords and devourer, 1 x twin boneswords and rending claws, 1 x twin boneswords and spinefists ALL with adrenal glands

6 warriors 270
3 x Twin boneswords and scything talons, 1 x twin boneswords and devourer, 1 x twin boneswords and rending claws, 1 x twin boneswords and spinefists ALL with adrenal glands

I would run these 2 squads of warriors, 2 primes, 2 shooty squads of warriors, a gant meatshield and a tervigon. That gives you more than 6 troops at 1500pts and some pretty badass close combat plus shooting.
