I've even emailed remedy for eyefinity/surround support for pc version. I'm even willing to lend my pc so that they can test eyefinity on it.

Alan Wake is a game about a writer trying to find his wife and being chased by shadows or something...

You're a writer, and while having some mind games you fight shadows. You use your flashlight to break their shields and use your guns to make them vanish. It was an interesting idea, but it was sorta flat at the same time.

Been there, beat that.

Game was a massive piece of crap. It's a boring version or RE4, really badly done, and the only real enjoyment you get is seeing you allied NPC's die, because they all suck.

Yeah, and I would rather throw money of a bridge then pay for that bullgak.
It's just a useless gimmick, this sums up 3d anyway. And multimonitor is just anoying, either get one huge monitor or don't, having seperate monitors trying to connect the same picture just breaks the immersion.

I have both one 100" big ass screen (projector) and 3x23" multimonitor setup.

I think two arguments you have for defence. First the streching -argument is wrong because it only occurs if developers suck at coding ( ie cod series, dead rising 2). This is not the case with alan wake.

Second border -argument is wrong because it does not break immersion as while gaming it's really hard to notice. When driving a car do those borders between windows break the immersion? Sure borderless screens would be better.

Huge monitor is just huge.

But anyway you don't have to buy the game/badass hardware if you don't like it.

On topic: Apparently the date for release is 12.2 (or 2.12 in us) and it comes to steam and retail.

First off, I never mentioned stretching, stop making up arguments for other people. Secondly, how the hell can you decide what breaks immersion for me? I've tried it, and it wasn't for me. You can't say no to an oppinion, it's an oppinion.

Borders in a car don't break immersion, cause guess what? It's real life, there is no bloody immersion in the actual world.

Alan wake sucked majorly and the port is likely to be terrible...
